In semester 2 2023, I got a result of 87% in the subject of MUSI10004 - Computing for Musicians. Tutoring experience: I have tutored Many tutees from all three of the music language subjects as well as other subjects. I will adopt my way of teaching basing on your needs and your learning style. I will share my secrets of how to easily get H1 with you. I can help struggling students to understand the materials covered in lectures and improve their grades. I can also help advanced students to expand their knowledge on the relavent topics both within and beyond the scope of the course. I have studied a broad range of music theories, including both music theories used in Australia, as well as theories used in other countries. If you want, I can show you how to look at the same music problem from different perspectives, and how a same musical passage is analysed differently in different theories, and how those differ from or share similarities with the theory we learn in our subject. I can also speak Mandarin Chinese (中文-汉语-普通话). You can discuss any music theories questions with me, including extracurricular questions. You can also ask me any question you have on my WeChat (2350428544) or Facebook and I am always happy to help you. My facebook profile picture is a Chinese traditional four-character red stamp. If I don't reply to your message on studentVip within 24 hours, please send me another message, or just nag me on WeChat or Facebook. Due to the pandemic, I am only offering online tutorials at the moment, unless the pandemic can be completely suppressed at some point during the year. I don't like doing tuition sessions with duration strictly less than an hour, because ① that's too short for me to cover any topic, and ② I don't want to fragment my time into tiny little pieces. If a tutee demands a tuition session with a duration less than an hour, then that session is charged with one full hour worth of tuition fee. In other words, if a tuition session is t minutes in length, where t < 60, then the tuition fee of that session is $60. P.S. 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘰𝘶𝘵𝘴𝘪𝘥𝘦 𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘤𝘶𝘳𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘶𝘭𝘶𝘮 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴: I really really like teaching and discussing different harmony theories. If you want to learn advanced harmony theory, I can be a really good teacher. I can also provide composition lessons where I can give you some of the exercises I found useful in the acquisition of advanced harmony and give you some feedback to your exercises as well as your free compositions. I can also provide piano improvisation lessons.
