UniMelb Business Tutor Jeremy
Hi, I'm Jeremy! VERY RESPONSIVE
I'm a UniMelb student studying Business.
Hi! I'm Jeremy. I've been tutoring and teaching for the past nine years. I spent the first years tutoring mostly math topics, and I started teaching Mandarin part-time at a language academy. For the past five years, I've been tutoring students in a wide range of topics, including law and psychology.
I always liked meeting students and getting to know them. I think I learn as much for my students as they learn for me. Every student has their own unique skill set, I enjoy the challenge of figuring these out and leveraging them for the student's success. In fact, I believe this is the key to the success of the students that I have worked with. If I can understand the student's strengths, then I know what to build on to help them become self-sufficient and self-motivated learners. Tutoring is challenging, but it's also very rewarding.
I tailor my lessons to my clients needs, where this is preparing for their finals, or getting started on an assignment.
In my free time, I enjoy writing, reading, watching movies, skiing, and traveling. I also like conversations with friends, reading, and being outside in nice weather. I'm looking forward to helping students in whatever way I can to achieve success.
