I am currently working on my PhD in philosophy of biology at the University of Sydney. I am an experienced tutor and have taught for the university as a PASS leader in several history and philosophy subjects. I have a strong academic record in both disciplines, and received the Hastie Scholarship for my honours thesis in philosophy. I have twice been included on the Dean's Honours List for Arts, and my work has been published in undergraduate journals, including the Undergraduate Philosophy Journal of Australasia. I can help you with ensuring that your history and philosophy essays are correctly structured and argued, and can give you pointers and tips for research. I can also help you with initial planning and to come up with ideas for your essays if you're having trouble interpreting the assignment. I can help out with most undergraduate philosophy subjects as well as history and philosophy of science. My pricing scheme is flexible depending on what you're after. In many cases I find it's better to meet for a short chat over zoom and then correspond via facebook or email to chat back and forth and give ongoing feedback as you work on your assignment. In those cases I won't charge my usual hourly rate, and we would instead agree on a flat fee to cover the period you're working on your essay. I was unsure how to begin writing a philosophy essay, as I had heard that it was structured differently from other styles of arts essay writing. Campbell was very patient as he walked me through the structure and even pointed me in the direction of some really helpful secondary sources. I came away from the session with confidence in how to approach the assignment. Would recommend!
