The event you’ve all been waiting for is upon us! GEMS Charity Working Bee! We will be conducting a reno-revamp to assist Women’s House, a local charity working to support women affected by domestic violence.

This semester saw a highly engaging trivia night, sizzling BBQ, and the launch of our Chuffed fundraising page, which thanks to your support, have enabled us to raise over $2000. We will be renovating the outreach facilities at Women’s House, including painting, cleaning, gardening, and refurbishing.

Unfortunately, the facilities are a women’s only space due to the nature of the charity, so this event can only be extended to female volunteers.

Women’s House is located in Woolloongabba. A group will be meeting at QUT** and catching public transport to the facilities, or limited on street parking is available for those who would like to drive themselves (carpooling is encouraged).

In order to work safely in the space provided, this opportunity can only be extended to a maximum of 10 people. Please register in the link below if you wish to attend. Lunch will be provided.
