Remote sensing is critical in the bulk of many environmental applications. The subject of remote sensing introduces key principles and concepts in remote sensing as well as working with computer remote sensing data of ENVI, (Environment for Visualising Images)an industry level software ENVI which is an innovative and powerful geospatial software that is used for an array of remote sensing applications. The subject looks at environmental analysis of vegetation, soils, geomorphological processes through levels of reflectance. The subject also enhances and improves scientific report writing, enhances understanding of the interactions of the atmosphere and electromagnetic radiation as well as other underlying key principles of remote sensing.
