    This an outstanding textbook on Economics. I fondly remember reading one of the much earlier editions of this textbook by Nobel Prize winning author Paul Samuelson in college. This 19th edition is even more informative and easier to read than that previous edition. The authors reduced the size of the textbook by 25% from previous editions in an effort to focus on the most important concepts and make it more readable for students.

    Even though the book was written in 2009, it still is extremely relevant and useful in understanding the principles and usefulness of Economics in 2021. I have read about half the book so far and I have enjoyed every chapter. It is definitely worth buying.

    I wanted to buy this book for my husband as a gift. It did not quite work out as I thought. I placed the order being under the impression I ordered Economics by Samuelson. What I received was another Economics book by McConnell, Blue & Flynn "Indian edition". The item was rewrapped to appear as new. However, as one can see from attached pictures the item is used and stained. I am really disappointed in this seller as they have listed the item with a false description.

    I had to order this for a class (although isn't that the case with most textbooks?). Being an econ text, I had low expectations. But I was pleasantly surprised. This book is written in (mostly) plain English. The chapters are just as long as they need to be. And although it provides the complicated math mumbo-jumbo, for those who would understand it, the authors certainly do not focus on it. I'm about to embark on my MPP and may hold on to this as a reference for the duration of my student days.
