It is OK. The other books on the same subjects contained the same info but were cheaper. I am still giving it 4 stars because it has a nice divider so that you can quickly find what you are looking for>

This is a fantastic resource/tool for psychology students learning to write critical essays or reports. There are examples of good/bad writing to help you see how to develop your own work. A must have for serious psychology students.

Fantastic book! A must for psychology students- I have had many different text books and lab books in the past, but this is by far the best I have came across so far.

Great. However the content isn't particularly insightful

I paid top dollar for this book as I thought it would be helpful, as I'm studying on a UK Psychology degree, to helping me with writing essays and research reports. It looks impressive - spiral bound, tabs for each of the sections and it's bigger in width than many other books. Great. However the content isn't particularly insightful. I'm not saying it's useless - in fact if you have been told to write an essay for psychology and have been given no guidance then this book would be helpful. However, I already had some guidance and I'd purchased another book in the past which I find more useful - especially as it's associated with BPS. This book uses APA style, so you might also find some conflict with your institution's chosen form of referencing. I feel like there's quite a bit of unnecessary padding - such as using tabs - which might be helpful if this was a 700 pager but it's not. If I wasn't so lazy, I would've returned it.
