Dr. Douglas Neckers is a photochemical scientist, trained under Calvin VanderWerf at the University of Kansas, and an alumnus of Hope College. Neckers retired as the McMasters Distinguished Research Professor Emeritus at Bowling Green State University, where he developed the Center for Photochemical Sciences. He currently serves as chief executive officer and founder of Spectra Group, a photochemical sciences company and founder of BioSolar Publishing. BioSolar Publishing seeks to spotlight "Education for the global community." Douglas Neckers' book, "Cal VanderWerf: Anchor of Hope," will be published in May 2016, with more titles to come highlighting innovative academics and research!
