"Rang and Dale's Pharmacology Flash Cards" review what you learn in class and reinforce essential drug information. Using generic drug names, Maureen M. Dale and Dennis G. Haylett cover the actions, mechanisms of action, pharmacokinetic aspects, clinical uses and adverse effects of all important drugs. The 320 cards are divided into sets, each covering a different body system. Each card features a multi-color diagram that indicates how drugs may exert their action on that system. Detailed information is presented on the reverse side so that you can easily test your knowledge of the drug. With a portable format and references to "Rang and Dale's Pharmacology, 6th Edition" and "Dale and Haylett: Pharmacology Condensed, 2nd Edition", these cards make it easy to review what you need to know in pharmacology.

Great resource for USMLE Step 1
Reviewed in the United States on 3 July 2013Verified Purchase
These cards were a great way to learn pharmacology for the USMLE step 1. They include great diagrams that really get at the mechanisms of the drugs, which I thought was super high yield for the test. Drugs are separated by class/mechanism of action, so that it's easy to learn. When my friends saw these they all bought a set themselves -- we all really liked them.

These flashcards are my favorite out of all the ones I have used/seen so far. There is just the right amount of information to be high yield but not overwhelming. I would recommend these to anyone!

Excellent for any medical student
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 10 February 2013Verified Purchase
Would definitely recommend this product to anyone doing pharmacology. Pharmacy and medical students would find this cards very useful since it's categorised into their different conditions (e.g. antiepileptic drugs). Easy for revision and good for testing yourself as well.
