"iHealth" is an integrated print-digital learning system designed to meet the needs of today s students and instructors. It has two components: a Brief text, and an online system that is integrated completely with Blackboard. The brief text provides a framework for teaching key health concepts, and the online component allows for easy, automatically-graded assessment, and simple course management. We offer over 50 assignable articles from magazines and journals to supplement the print component that you can assign online, allowing you to choose which topics and themes you would like to emphasize and giving you the freedom to make the course your own.
Connect is the only integrated learning system that empowers students by continuously adapting to deliver precisely what they need, when they need it, and how they need it, so that your class time is more engaging and effective."

GREAT BUY
Reviewed in the United States on 24 November 2012Verified Purchase
As a second year student in the Health Promotions program at my University, I was required to have this book and access code for my upper level Personal Health class. At my school's on-campus bookstore, both the (new) book and access code were bundled together for $121. Like most college students, dishing out over 100 bucks is just impossible, and spending that on one book alone just seemed like too much...so I did some research :) I found this brand new (and updated) copy of iHealth WITH access code for a little over $40 and placed my order. Within 4 days I received the package quickly and neatly. I will NEVER buy books on campus again (last semester one anatomy book alone cost me $251). I would definitely recommend buying from this seller again and hope they sell more books I will need in the upcoming semesters. Overall, great buy!

I rented this book for one of my college courses. The book covers a lot of information such as health car, the different type of medicine, depression, sexual disease, nutrition, etc.

Used for a college course

Ordered this for my son to have with a college course.
If he gets an A in the ocurse, it was great. If he does not, it was still great but he gets a reduction in his spending money.

Do not order this book or from this company!

I contacted this seller twice regarding not receiving the Connect Plus Access Card. Their response both times was an identical answer stating they cannot guarantee including the access card. My response to them was to CHANGE THE DESCRIPTION OF THE ITEM! They responded with the same ridiculousness that they did the first time. In my opinion, they are purposely falsely advertising something they have NO INTENTION of providing! If I could give them fewer than one star, I would. TOTAL SCAM AND WORTHLESS CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

The book was really easy to read
Reviewed in the United States on 24 September 2015Verified Purchase
The book was really easy to read. However, most of it seemed like common knowledge/stuff you could search on the internet if you didn't already know it. There were some parts of the book that seemed really opinionated for a text book and somewhat sexist. Not useful as reference for research data aside from a few statistics. Boring to read when you have to use it for a text book. Didn't find it well written.
