Neil Doherty is a retired economics professor from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania—the same school that afforded Donald Trump (and two of his children) an undergraduate degree. Doherty favors traditional rhyming and metric verse and writes on a variety of subjects including science (an avid reader) and religion (a skeptic). He lives on Bainbridge Island, Washington, with his wife Caroline, dog Codie, and a 1951 Morris Minor car called Molly.
