Purchase options and add-ons
Over the years, risk management has developed separately in both the insurance and financial fields. Today, the two are finding value in each other's tools and techniques. "Integrated Risk Management" combines the best of the two notions of risk management, insurance and financial, to develop solutions ideal for today's complex risk environment. Tools go beyond hedging strategies to also examine leveraging, post-loss financing, contingent financing, and diversification.

Neil Doherty is a retired economics professor from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania—the same school that afforded Donald Trump (and two of his children) an undergraduate degree. Doherty favors traditional rhyming and metric verse and writes on a variety of subjects including science (an avid reader) and religion (a skeptic). He lives on Bainbridge Island, Washington, with his wife Caroline, dog Codie, and a 1951 Morris Minor car called Molly.
