An excellent book that provides a in depth summary of the Renal system in a clear easy to read to format. A double page per topic with one of the pages being a diagram and the other the text its easy to find what you are looking for. My only qualm with the book is that on occasion I have found that I needed slightly more depth than it gives but that might just be personal preference.

I have been battling understanding the renal system and renal diseases for a long time now, and this book as finally helped me come to terms with it. It presents the information in a neatly summarised way and in a manner that really helped me let it sink in. Each page has a full page diagram(s) that summarise the points that are explained on the opposite page - often the diagrams are good enough for me to use on their own without reading the details opposite. A great book for cramming for exams and for coming to grips with the area.

This book covers a very complicated topic in simple step by step terms, whilst simultaneously being at an eminently suitable level for medical courses.
It is clearly laid out with lots of pictures and diagrams and makes sense of body systems influenced by renal function.
Well worth investing in if you are studying medicine.
