5.0 out of 5 stars Very easy to read and understand!

I just finished the class, and this is the required text. The content is very easy to understand, with the important terms printed "offset" in the margins is great for quick refresher or reference. I extended my renewal, so I could continue with self study. There are many examples of code, and the checkpoints take the stress out of studying for exams. The class didn't get to chapter 10 on Object Oriented Thinking. I think this Chapter should start the class off, instead of the history lesson. With so many different varieties of programming languages, a new developer can be overwhelmed. If the student starts with JAVA, understanding this language will help with other languages, such as Python, "R" and even C++. I wish you all the best of luck in your studies!
** I have studied other structured languages, which requires lines and lines of code. JAVA, OOP, makes coding easier and more elastic. This text can help you understand Object Oriented Programming and code modularization and elasticity.
