4.0 out of 5 stars Overall Intro Primer
Format: PaperbackVerified PurchaseIf you are a student and have an interest in moving into this discipline, this book is a good overall introduction to being a good scientist. If you are looking at studying the operational science look into one of Presti’s or Lipton’s books.

5.0 out of 5 stars The item is all fine, arrived on time etc
Format: PaperbackVerified PurchaseThe item is all fine, arrived on time etc. However, to the students out there just starting their degree, I was told it was necessary by my university. Haven't used it once - if you're buying for the same reason, maybe give it a few weeks and see if people actually use them or if tutors/lecturers even refer to them (mine don't).

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for aspiring animal scientists!
Format: PaperbackVerified PurchaseI purchased this book as I study BSc Animal Science, and it's fantastic! This book gives a lot of practical advice for writing laboratory reports, essays, revision and exam tips. I found it very useful when planning my dissertation as it has step-by-step protocols for lots of scientific assays, including the PCR and electrophoresis which I needed to use.
I'd highly recommend it :)
