Product description
From the Back Cover
Now that digital clock speeds and analog frequencies are increasingly in the GHz range, today′s electrical engineers must understand the fundamental principles and laws of electromagnetics. That′s why Clayton Paul′s ELECTROMAGNETICS FOR ENGINEERS presents a focused, applications–oriented approach that will help you successfully design high–speed and high–frequency communication systems.
Here′s how Paul′s approach works:
1. Avoids unnecessary mathematics: the text presents mathematics on a need–to–know basis, and focuses only on those derivations and vector identities that are essential to your understanding of the material.
2. Presents many practical applications: The author has carefully selected applications (along with photographs) from two areas: digital system design and electromagnetic interference, or electromagnetic compatibility.
3. Emphasizes time–varying fields: Reduced coverage of static (dc) fields enables you to sufficiently focus on time–varying fields, which have a large number of exciting engineering applications.
4. Provides example problems and quick review exercises: These pedagogical aids will help you reinforce and assess your understanding of each new concept and law.

There are no answers in the back of the book; all answers that are provided are given at the end of the problem. The examples are all very basic, meaning that the more complicated questions at the end of the chapter are nearly impossible for people to do if they don't start with a firm understanding of the subject.
This book also comes with too much padding in the chapters. Get to the point, people, I really hate when textbooks do this.

I have been using my Physics book to cover all the gaps that this book does not explain and to understand better the topics.
