      Med student here. My school references this book like the patho Bible. Both my histopathology professor and ID professor use almost exclusively Robbins for their lectures. The pocket companion is thick, but small and really summarizes the chapters very concisely with references to actual textbook pages. Great reference tool for when you need to look something up quick. No histo images, but that's the price you pay for portability. thank you sweet baby Robbins .
