Part 1 DC Circuits
1 Basic Concepts
2 Basic Laws
3 Methods of Analysis

Answers to Odd-Numbered Problems

Alexander and Sadiku's third edition of Fundamentals of Electric Circuits continues in the spirit of its successful previous editions, with the objective of presenting circuit analysis in a manner that is clearer, more interesting, and easier to understand than other, more traditional texts. Students are introduced to the sound, six-step problem solving methodology in chapter one, and are consistently made to apply and practice these steps in practice problems and homework problems throughout the text and online using the KCIDE software.
A balance of theory, worked examples and extended examples, practice problems, and real-world applications, combined with over 300 new homework problems for the third edition and robust media offerings, renders the third edition the most comprehensive and student-friendly approach to linear circuit analysis.

5.0 out of 5 stars
Verified Purchase

5.0 out of 5 stars Good old Alexander
Verified PurchaseWow!! I didn't know this book before buying this book; I just relied on references in other books. Alexander has everything I need - all I need now is the time (I'm 84) to absorb at least some of it

5.0 out of 5 stars One of the best textbooks on the subject.
Verified PurchaseI reviewed this book and other books through less reputable sites. The other books quickly proved frustrating. This book proved to in general to an excellent job explaining concepts through detailed explanations instead quickly glossing over things assuming you should know certain things. I liked it so much I bought a physical copy, nothing beats actually having the book. I also liked that it was low on typos, so far I've only noticed one or two instead too often in other books. Those typos really get you in that you second guess yourself or try to learn things wrong to justify the answer if you aren't careful. So if you're in over your head in your class, check out this book, the 4th edition is one edition old, but still solid and because it isn't the current edition you can get it at a great price. I ended up buy a second one to keep from lugging it between where I go, the book is so nice I bought it twice.
