5.0 out of 5 stars Ótimo livro texto, porém exemplar veio com danos na capa
Esses danos me deixaram um tanto quanto desapontada...

5.0 out of 5 stars A Great Vertebrate Zoology Textbook
Verified PurchaseI was a biology major in the 70's and I periodically read a biology textbook to refresh my memory and keep up with what has changed. Some textbooks are dry, not Vertebrate Life. It does not get bogged down in comparative anatomy to the exclusion of more exciting topics such as behavior, evolution, historical geology and physiology. The Kardong textbook is thorough, but it is a very tough read. Vertebrate Life is very easy to read. I read it cover to cover, novel style. This the third edition I have owned over the years and the first in full color. Highly recommended for any amateur naturalist.
