He is also committed to helping schools to develop a culture of continuous teacher learning. He is an advisor in the development of the new Macmillan English Dictionary and wrote the workbook that accompanies it. He was president of IATEFL 1999-2001.

El libro es verdaderamente un must-have. Lo cierto es que tardó unos días más de lo previsto, pero como tampoco me corría prisa, no le di demasiada importancia. Destacaría dos inconvenientes:

1) NO vino plastificado y por ello la tapa estaba un poco sucia y las esquinas dobladas
2) Tampoco vino en con el phonemic chart desplegable que se supone que incluía

I started teaching a couple of months ago, and like everyone new in the field i am trying to make the most out of the vast quantity of resourses from the internet. But as expected although there are a loads of materials on the internet, the catch is to find the good ones. Ever since i come acros Adrian Underhill's video on youtube, i knew i found one of the best, and needn't look any further. Now that i did buy his book, i realised that he is simply the best, in teaching pronunciation. Then again, this is just my opinion and it may be subjective, but for the money u pay, u will get a lot. Keep keen!
