I got this Wiley book to serve as a comparison to McGraw-Hill's "Thermodynamics: An Engineering Approach". It adds great interest to the pursuit of understanding if you have both books, as well as the Schaum's Outline "Thermodynamics For Engineers (4th Edition)".
5.0 out of 5 starsComprehensive and well written. Very thorough.

The 8th edition has lots of practice problems (with answers to the odd numbered ones), both of which are missing in the newer 9th edition! Go with the 8th - it's cheaper and better.
