5.0 out of 5 stars Super book does what it says
Format: PaperbackVerified PurchaseBought this book as I have started running/ going to gym and have been finding I feel quite stiff sometimes.
This book has stretches for as it says the full body. Each one has easy to follow pictures and at the end of the book they are put into stretch programs for different sports / situations. Ranging from short 5 to 10 min stretch routines for different areas to a 40 min full body stretch.

5.0 out of 5 stars one of the best
Format: PaperbackVerified Purchasethis book is really, really great. A lot of the stretches are common, theres not a lot of new ones, just with little twists and new techniques. The real jem is assisted vs unassisted stretching, dynamic vs static and combining. balancing you strong and weak muscles. You'd never think you could sweat from stretcing. it gives great advice for athletes such as soccer players have strong calves and weak shins, so emphasixing shins is more important (lifting toes and holding it). I would highly recommend it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Resource
Format: PaperbackVerified PurchaseI have seen Jay at fitness conferences before and knew I could trust him as a great resource. This book did not disappoint me. As a group fitness instructor and new personal trainer, I was looking for a book to go beyond the basics. This certainly did the trick. Jay's approach is applicable to anyone - novice or stretching pro. The pictures and text are so easy to follow. There were many familiar stretches in the book but also quite a few that were new to me. I also liked the timed stretch routines and sports specific stretches. His 3 step approach takes stretching beyond the basics. I've incorporated many of the moves into my classes and they love it. This will always be a great reference book for me. I highly recommend this book.
