I ordered this on the 19th from Book Holders and it arrived just this morning in the mail. I need the book for a stats course I'm taking for my fall quarter and I didn't want to dish out near $200 to buy it from the campus bookstore. I was happy to find this book available here on Amazon (and nearly $90 cheaper in price) and I'm very pleased that it arrived so quickly. (I haven't even gone to my first stats class yet!) The quality of the item is great; you can hardly tell it was a used book. Highly recommend buying from the seller and will definitely be shopping on Amazon again.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent textbook!!

This is one of the best textbooks I've ever read!(Not something I would typically say about a textbook.) The author has cleverly managed to explain statistical procedures in everyday language (and even included a sense of humor). Howell has demonstrated the ability to make what many would consider highly complex and uninteresting information seem relevant to the reader. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is unfamiliar with statistics or needs to further their understanding of these concepts. Also, includes references to excellent website resources that go along with the book!

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Intro for stats

It's an excellent intro for stats with little maths. I don't like books that just give answers, and this book is certainly not one of those...it makes you think (don't panic, not that much). Very good
