5.0 out of 5 stars Love It!
Verified PurchaseThe book was advertised as "Very Good", and it truly was! Showed up as promised, sealed in a plastic bag with cardboard surrounds, with absolutely no indication of ever having been used. I had read a review on the "third" edition in which it was stated that, except for a few updates, the book was a reprint of the earlier editions. So I went for it! Am using it for self-study to augment a couple of other books I have. Amazing for the price!

5.0 out of 5 stars An Excellent Book
Verified PurchaseI have always hated and feared C++. But after I got this book I began to like programming with it. It is good for
- beginners
- intermediate levels
- advanced levels. Advanced students and professional programmers can use it as a reference also. It is a great book for reference. If you want to learn C++ then just get it. It is worth every penny spent on it.
