Mullaly bietet zunächst eine Analyse diverser politischer Modelle und versucht die Anforderungen an die Sozialarbeit darzustellen. Ich kann dieses Buch jenen empfehlen, die bereit sind die Ideologien, Werte und Denkstrukturen noch einmal zu reflektieren oder sich mit einer kritischen Positionierung auseinandersetzen wollen. Für StudentInnen halte ich dieses Buch besonders geeignet (gerade wenn sie andere Theoriemodelle kennenlernen möchten.
