Excellent thoroughly recommend.
The definition of concepts is very concise, borderline bare-bones at times, and in many cases full understanding comes only when you attack the solved problems; learning by doing and all that jazz. For some concepts I was forced to refer to Wikipedia to find explicit applications of those concepts, so it's not the end-all be-all of statistics, but it really does serve you well if you need to learn an outline of the subject, as the title of the book itself says.
New to me is the integration of MINITAB and Excel functions into the book so that you can learn how to apply what you learn into statistical software and learn to understand their output instead of entering numbers into formulas and spending too much time with a calculator and equations, but this is again minimalist since this isn't a guide to that software.
I gave it four stars because it lacks any practical applications or explanations of certain concepts, however this is still an absolutely solid book. I do recommend it if you're starting out with stats or you need to brush up on the basics. Look elsewhere for advanced stats books, and expect to pay outrageous textbook prices for them.
