Viel gibt es nicht zu sagen: ich habe mir den Student Guide zur Begleitung der Hamlet-Lektüre im Englisch-LK gekauft und mich damit auch auf die Klausur zu diesem Thema vorbereitet. Das Büchlein gibt umfangreiche Informationen zum Stück, ohne jedoch je den wesentlichen Kern außer Acht zu lassen.
Man merkt, dass der Student Guide, trotz seiner Herkunft aus Cambridge, hauptsächlich für Schüler anderer Sprachen gemacht ist, denn der Text ist sehr leicht und schnell zu lesen.
Im Endeffekt habe ich mich mit diesem Büchlein gut vorbereitet gefühlt, sowohl auf Unterricht als auch auf Klausur. Nichtsdestotrotz ist - auch zum Verständnis des Student Guides - eine aufmerksame Lektüre des Primärtextes auf jeden Fall erforderlich.
