5.0 out of 5 stars Might as well have a physical copy for the exam
Verified PurchaseArrived quick. Needed to prep for the exam and having a physical copy is easier than the digital one.
Personally I prefer the BCS book as its style is closer to how I perceive and arrange knowledge in my head. IIBA just had too many references to things that all read pretty much the same...

5.0 out of 5 stars Essential for BAs and useful for anyone undertaking similar projects
Verified PurchaseThe BABOK is must reading for every businez analyst -- and rightly so. In fact, I would recommend the book to people in any disciplins that creates projects that involve consulting people and identifying needs and soutions. About half of the book deals with underlying competences (communications, analytical thinking, etc.) and foundational skills (planning, strategy, solution analysis). Tbe otber half describes some of the techniques used by BAs.
Aside from tbe practical advice, the BABOK.is useful in standarizing terminology and is worth the price just as a source of ideas for resumes and such.
