Dr Marc Oxenham is a Lecturer in Archaeology and Bioanthropology at the prestigious Australian National University (ANU), Canberra Australia. His research concentrates on elucidating aspects of human palaeohealth, palaeopathology and behaviour by way of analyses of human skeletal and dental material. He currently supervises a number of graduate students in the fields of bioarchaeology, forensic anthropology and mortuary archaeology.

This book was required reading for a Forensic Anthropology class that I took. It was easy reading for the most part and interesting. Although we did not use the entire textbook, I plan on reading it on my on.
