5.0 out of 5 stars No Keyboard Layouts for Webster's Phonetic System
Verified PurchaseI purchased this book mainly for the Webster's proprietary phonetic transcriptions. The definitions of course had these, and their was also a page in the back of the book dedicated to explaining these symbols. However, I found out that there are not any keyboard layouts available to recreate or quote these phonetic transcriptions digitally, so I will be spending considering time programming these into a new layout.
The dictionary has all the words I referenced so far, and the book seems very large and thorough. I guess that is all I have to say. Cheap Medical Dictionary in a medium sized paperback.

5.0 out of 5 stars Indispensible
Verified PurchaseThis dictionary is very useful for any student in the health care field. It saves having to look up numerous definitions on the internet. There are very few words that I needed to look up that weren't there. For the price, it's a good buy.
