I really love the readability of this book. It is set out in small chapters with great examples. I could either read from cover to cover or dip in and out of it as and when needed. For me, it’s a good reminder of grammar that I should have been taught in school in the 80s, but it also assists in not only the understanding of English grammar but will also assist me in learning other languages from the understanding of grammatical terms etc from English as a basis.
I’m so pleased I got this book because it was on my wish list, and I’m even more pleased that I didn’t pay the extortionate price that it presently is when sold as new because I just think it’s disproportionate to the size of the book.
Well worth having. I’m very happy, and will definitely look out for this seller again for any of my book needs. Thanks
Ausnahmsweise muß ich hier einmal meinem Linguistik-Dozenten zustimmen, welcher uns dieses Buch in der Uni empfohlen hat. Natürlich hat es nur einen begrenzten Inhalts-und Erklärungswert, aber zum schnellen Nachschlagen ist es trotzden sehr nützlich.
Nur leider etwas teuer...aber so ist das eben mit "Fachliteratur".
Good read, something we all need to be reminded of...great teaching aid....
ich bin total Zufrieden mit dem Buch.
Die Lieferung war sehr schnell.
