Get Ready for A & P (2nd Edition)

I just received this book and it is already preparing me for my Human Anatomy and Physiology college course. The first chapter was great in explaining the different learning styles and I was able to tell what learning style I have! The second chapter goes over basic math, including the metric system. Sometimes we might forget about the metric system but we need to know this if we are going to work in the human anatomy-related fields. This is definitely a must have book, especially if you are going to be taking A & P!

Get Read for A and P

This is a fab book if you're new to a and p and it's been a while! It is not a replacement for a comprehensive a and p book (like Marieb), but it does contain some useful information, like lists of prefixes and suffixes and common terminology, and some bitesized activities to work your way through if you want to. For UK purchasers, whilst it is relevant to UK readers (I'm a student nurse in the UK), it is very US orientated - e.g. spellings are in US English and the examples the author gives are US-based. Still useful though, and I paid less than £5 for it!

I've bought this in advance of starting my Physiotherapy Degree as it is on the recommended reading lists. At a glance it looks like it is of high standard and written clearly to easily understand. This would be valuable for any health care student.
