Product description
Review
Review from previous edition I purchased this to practice question styles before my coming exams. It helps with just that. There is a section on each area of medicine and the answers are then provided with explanations of why that is the right answer. It works well to have the explanations as it not only helps revision but also aids knowledge in general. (Amazon customer review)
A wide-ranging and comprehensive set of self-assessment questions, focusing on common and important clinical problems. Allows coverage of a much broader range of topics than any standard text could manage in such a concise framework. (Dr Michael Schachter, Imperial College London)
A great new question book with easy links to your trusted handbook favourites. With the answers explained, this book not only tests you but gives you feedback too! (Laura May, Medical student)
Recommended in Times Higher Education, February 2010
There is no doubt that this book would have been a great help during my revision and I would strongly recommend it. It is certainly the best question book Ive used, it not only prepares you for the exam but it also prepares you for the wards. (Thomas Kelley, Academic Foundation Year 1 Doctor, Oxford University Clinical Academic Graduate School)

I'm quite happy my purchase

This review is for the service and not for the book as the book is probably well known for those who seek it. I bought the book on Monday and the arrival time was estimated to be after 5 to 10. To my surprise the book arrived on Wednesday. I'm quite happy my purchase. Thank you very much...

Pages have been double printed and 60 pages are missing - poor publishing quality, excellent content however.
Edit: amazon have replaced my copy with no problem, thank you.

misprint
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 13 April 2016Verified Purchase
Is a useful, handy sized book and good when used alongside the handbook.
However, as I have seen previously noted I also received a misprinted version, meaning 50 pages are missing and some were repeated.
