Excellent product - the dictionary I have been looking for, for years and at a very reasonable price. All others around 4 times as much. Brilliant back up for the serious student of Philos - saves hours of scouring the web and from an author with very high cred.

Useful tool
Reviewed in the United States on 23 December 2017Verified Purchase
A great tool to have for those beginning to delve into philosophical writings. Much of philosophy builds on references to other works and terms having a specific meaning and having such a book to build up understanding of those terms is quite helpful so you can continue reading the present work with increased comprehension. I also find it useful in pursuing threads of philosophic thought and identifying areas of interest.

A handbook of Philosophy
Reviewed in India on 26 May 2018Verified Purchase
Strictly for philosophers, who are philosophy academicians( both teachers and students). Also covers indian philosophy which is not included in penguin series dictionary. Proving to be of great help. Great literary language with a confluence of philosophical history . Really!! One does enjoy reading it as a reference book.
