I enjoyed this book a lot and I recommend this book for girls ages 10 to14 I think that it's a really realistic story of how people can be. And how we judge people without thinking. Hating Alison Ashley is definitely a 10/10

A fantastic book especially for children 10 and up. The language is wonderful and the characterisation spot on. A very funny book. It is nothing like the film which was dreadful.

It was so good i mean I expected it to be really bad like the movie but no it was nice but still a few things I would still like to know like:
1 How does Ashley get in contact with her mum about her staying at Erica's
2 How does the party go I mean something had to happen to piss Erica off right
3 does Barry Hollands tell Erica he likes her or she tells him that she likes him
Yeah so there are a few questions that I PERSONALLY would like to have answered I mean in the movie every question but 2 gets answered but that was the movie so yeah other an that GREAT
Nice, friendship and of course leaning that the world doesn't revolve and yourself thank you Robin Klein for making an amazing book that I could not out down!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3/5 stars for me

This book was a stunning mix of modern emotion and thought and old fashioned Aussie culture. Klein's perfect combination of these two factors makes amazing book and hilarious entertainment.

My favourite childhood book

I read this as a child and found here, I had to buy it. It took me back immediately to being a little girl and loving the story, being captivated by the magical Alison and seeing two girls realise who they really are through each other’s eyes. A really wonderful story, I encourage all young girls to read this.
