An excellent textbook for understanding the fundamentals of human immunology. The only thing I wish for is that it could be possible for someone who has bought the book version could have a code to access the ebook so that the animations (that are available with ebook) could be accessed too.

Janis Kuby’s groundbreaking introduction to immunology was the first textbook for the course actually written to be a textbook. Like no other text, it combined an experimental emphasis with extensive pedagogical features to help students grasp basic concepts.
Now in a thoroughly updated new edition, Kuby Immunology remains the only undergraduate introduction to immunology written by teachers of the course. In the Kuby tradition, authors Judy Owen, Jenni Punt, and Sharon Stranford present the most current concepts in an experimental context, conveying the excitement of scientific discovery, and highlight important advances, but do so with the focus on the big picture of the study of immune response, enhanced by unsurpassed pedagogical support for the first-time learner.

5.0 out of 5 stars A MUST READ!
Verified PurchaseA wonderful book that I high recommend! Particularly for antivaxxers! Since they’re already experts in the immune system, this should just be a light read!
It’s 900 pages of beautifully illustrated major histocompatibility complexes, TCR peptide chains, cytokines production, CLR signaling pathways, MHC polymorphism, IFN- gamma, IL-4 and IL-6 production, and everything else one needs to know to properly “research” immunology in order to make educated decisions for themselves and their family! One of my personal favorites; it’s definitely a MUST! 👏🏻👏🏻
