    I'm really glad I purchased the book for this class. The text is clear and concise, and has been very helpful to supplement the lecture. The book gives example problems, and talks about strategies to approach them, and why one answer may look correct, but isn't. If you're on the fence about purchasing the text, but a little nervous at all about taking organic chem, I would recommend getting it.

The discussion of some topics occasionally requires recourse to other textbooks on General Chemistry for best understanding.
