Using this book for a cognitive psychology undergraduate class and it's wonderful! It's an easy, fun read and makes connections throughout the book to really allow for a broad, yet detailed understanding of cognitive psychology!

Great!

Great textbook! It's easy to read and I can get information quick if I needed it, but also go back and learn a lot. They give wonderful examples about concepts and really relate it to student's lives, which is refreshing. This is one of the only textbooks this semester that I used that was up to date and I actually enjoyed reading.

Absolutely amazing textbook, there is a lot of information that is easy to understand. This was required for a psychology class but it is by far a better textbook then many others that I have had to buy.

and the professor was no better. I am an online student

I dropped this course last semester because the book was so hard to understand, and the professor was no better. I am an online student, and this book is all together better in explaining these very complex ideas. I completely understand now after reading than I ever thought possible!

and offers a great amount of information without adding in useless things
Reviewed in the United States on 27 March 2017Verified Purchase
I purchased this book for a college class. First, I think the book is well written overall. The book is not very dry, and offers a great amount of information without adding in useless things. Of course, I am very interested in the subject matter, so I may find this much more interesting than others. There are great examples to back up the information, and studies are often cited and explained.
My only real complaint about this book is the lack of definitions on the side of the pages to complement them inside the main body of the text.
