Just enough information.

I love this guide, it is a great review for my medical school pharmacology class. My issue was in trying to memorize everything, which was hard with medications, this text makes it easy to study and retain the information. It also gives you enough physiology and background without being overwhelming. Great guide for review. I Haverecommended it to my study group on campus and several people have started using it as well with great results.

Great introductory/Summary book
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 26 May 2014Verified Purchase
So As I was starting a course studying medical pharmacology, I thought it would be a good idea to buy a few books on pharmacology, this book included. It's an excellent and compact book, with diagrams and many different useful ideas and has been really useful as it's much more portable than most other books I own as a quick reference guide on certain things.
In terms of content, it is structured well by making 2 page summaries on a certain body system/part with drugs that affect it and how they do. It's excellent for anyone who'd like to learn a little about pharmacology or needs a book to go for first ideas before heading into more depth on research on a pharmacological topic.

イラストがフルカラーで見やすい。文章の内容も、多くもなく、少なくもなく、ちょうどよい。一項目が見開き二ページに、おさまっている。薬理学の講義のまとめにも、医学生や薬学生の英語の勉強にも、よいと思う。
