Beginning with a fascinating overview and then organized by planet, in order of its distance from the sun, "Solar System" takes us on a trip across time and space that includes a front-row seat to the explosive birth of the solar system, a journey to (and then deep inside) each of its eight planets, and even an in-depth exploration of asteroids and comets.

I have statistics and this package does just what I need it to. The stats portal is definitely worth the extra money. Honesty I have not even opened the book yet, I have been using the videos online. Plus it has an online copy of the book. This is a great way to learn and has many different options, so you can find what works for you.

I had this book for my introductory statistics class at Michigan University.
Pros:-
1)The book is great for someone who has never studied statistics before and go through everything step by step.
2)Important formulae is highlighted.
3)Includes the answers to every alternate problems.
4)Has a CD for additional exercises.
Cons:-
1)You have to refer back to data and tables included in the chapter while doing the questions.Trust me,you will find it frustraiting.
Do not bother buying the new version. I compared this edition to the new editions my classmates had and honestly, there are no significant changes.

As it was a paper back edition the few wrinkles on the cover did not bother me, but there was a large portion of the index and glossary that was almost completely detached.
