About the Author

F. Robert Jacobs is Chase Faculty Fellow Professor of Operations Management at the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University. He received a B.S. in Industrial Engineering as well as Computer and Information Science, an MBA, and a Ph.D. in Operations Management all from The Ohio State University.

Richard B. Chase is Director of the Center for Operations Management Research and Education at USC. He is widely published in both books and academic journals and is considered one of the top service "gurus" in the field. He is on the Editorial Advisory Board of the Journal of Operations Management, an Advisor to Production and Operations Management journal, and a Fellow of the Decision Sciences Institute.

Professor Emeritus of Operation and Decision Technologies, Kelly School of Business, Indiana University

Professor Jacobs is the author of three textbooks for McGraw-Hill including Operations and Supply Chain Management, Operations and Supply Management-The Core, and Manufacturing Planning and Control for Supply Chain Management. His PhD is from The Ohio State University and was at Indiana University for over 30 years. He taught in the PhD, MBA and undergraduate programs at the school.

He is past president of the Decision Sciences Institute and has served on the Board of Directors of APICS - The Association for Operations Management. Over the years he has won many awards for innovation and teaching excellence.

    The book has been delivere very quickly as promised.
    But when the book arrived, it almost looked like a mistake. The product description stated that the cover might be different as well as the edit. But what disappointed is the quality of the book itself: cover looks very used / consumed with a lot of stickers of a seller (I guess) all over the place + the whole book is basically a low quality black & white copy - which might even be ok for study, BUT NOT this for 161€!
