5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Read
Format: PaperbackVerified PurchaseThis is a very interesting book with very detailed information for the teacher interested in special education, or for the inclusive teacher. I believe all teachers, regardless, should know the information this book possesses. It is very eye-opening to read about all of the new and upcoming features of early childhood special ed!

3.0 out of 5 stars This is an okay book...not the best I've seen
Verified PurchaseThis book is easy to read and gives quite a bit of general information about the characteristics of exceptional children. One of the negative things about the book is that information is spread throughout the book instead of being in one or two chapters. This makes it difficult to make sure that you have read all of the information on a certain topic. This would not have been my first choice for a book on exceptional children, but it was required reading for a course that I took.

5.0 out of 5 stars This was very, very interesting. I became interested ...
Format: PaperbackVerified PurchaseThis was very, very interesting. I became interested in students that had disabilities, or were "exceptional" in that they were above the other children of the same age. The book was very well put together & very knowledgable.
