5.0 out of 5 stars University course text.

Bought for my wife who was studying nursing as it was one of the required texts. She found the book invaluable and reffered back to it while compiling essays referencing back to pages. She found this book invaluable when combined with the other course texts. On its own it does have a few everyday reminders which do tend to be forgotten after training is complete. For a general read for anyone interested in nursing but not studying, it's not a bad read in its own right as I found out when I read it. It is full of tips and pointers but does make you aware of bad practices in some hospitals.

5.0 out of 5 stars Highly useful!

Extremely useful! Lots of insight and techniques to help with study. It is very comprehensive. It's also very well compiled and labelled, so it's easy to navigate if you just want to dip in and read about a particular area, rather than reading front to back. I would recommend to any healthcare students, or anybody intending to study healthcare in the future.

Excellent study skills book with relevance to health & social care students, nursing etc...
Found I often refer back to this core text for inspiration and to base my next assignment in the reality of lecturers expectations

I want to be a vet but I found a copy of this book in my local library and I believe this will help me (even though this book is not written for the veterinary students). I have had it a little while now but haven't been able to start it however, I am starting it tonight and I have just looked through it again, before I start. I am SO excited. It was great value for money. Thank you for quick, secure delivery. It arrived well packaged. Better hit the books haha
