Great Book for Beginners
Reviewed in the United States on 22 January 2016Verified Purchase
I bought this book for a college-level Spanish class. I knew that I needed an iLrn access code, so I went ahead and bought a new book, since typically a used book's access key will not work for a separate user. This was a great book for me as a student because of all of the pictures and vocabulary that it included. It is a very user-friendly manual even for the older students. There are tons of learning activities (picking verbs to use, tenses, vocabulary, etc.). The iLrn website had practice quizzes, learning activities, videos, and more. It was a practical option for learning the language. After finishing the class, I ended up giving the book to my brother who is just starting to learn Spanish in high school because it encompasses lots of vocabulary and verbs without going too fast. He seems to really enjoy it too.

Worked Fine for Me
Reviewed in the United States on 22 January 2013Verified Purchase
Bought the book with the iLrn code, It worked fine for me. (Im in SPA 101 - 04 Spring 2013 MSU)
Before you order match up the isbn with someone in your class, i matched both bar codes with my friends copy, before i ordered.
Buy the one shipped and sold by amazon.com. I did, and the book worked fine.
Some of the others might be cheaper by a dollar or so, but amazon will have your back if the access code does not work.
Buying it on here saved me $40 over just buying access from the site and i got a hard copy of the book to boot.

Exploraciones
Reviewed in the United States on 7 November 2012Verified Purchase
Be sure to check the ISBN number. I ordered Exploraciones with iLrn access and had no problems registering the access code. I think some may be ordering a different version (with a different ISBN) that does not come with iLrn. That may explain why some access codes do not work. Also beware of used books - make sure the access code has not been used, or you'll have to buy a new code.

I needed this book for my Spanish 101 class at Francis Marion University. When the book was sent to me it was not sent with a Access Code. So, I filed a claim because I know the description said "ACCESS CARD". I explain that I could not use this book because my professor requested for us to use the access code for our grades and I would like to have my money back and I would via mail your book back to you. The company ONLY agreed to give me half when I only had the book for 3 days. So I had to end up purchasing another book with a "ACCESS CARD" and keeping their book to sell else where and they gave me around $80.00 for the book becasue it is a new editon without an access code book and you can use the book for more the just Spanish 101 if I am not mistaking you can also use the book for 102 and 103.
