About the Author

T. R. Smyth held academic appointments at many of Australia's foremost universities. In addition to the highly successful first edition of The Principles of Writing in Psychology, he authored The Psychology Thesis: Research and Coursework and Writing Psychology: A Student Guide.
Amanda Le Couteur is Associate Professor, Psychology, at the University of Adelaide, where she is Co-Director of the Discourse and Social Psychology Unit and teaches in the fields of research methods and philosophy of science.
