An excellent resource. Understandable and interesting
Reviewed in the United States on 6 August 2017Verified Purchase
An excellent resource. Understandable and interesting, even if it is challenging. This older edition does not have the chapter on Visual Perception that newer editions have. If you're buying it for your own knowledge, you can risk not having the chapter. If you're buying it for class, buy the 6th edition.

More Than I Thought

Beautiful textbook--comes with the workbook, for which I am thankful because I wasn't expecting to get it. I've ordered textbooks online before, and this is the only one thus far which comes shrink-wrapped (probably because of the addition of the workbook). Much better and cheaper than buying from my university's bookstore.

Great Timing
Reviewed in the United States on 28 August 2011Verified Purchase
The book came (with workbook) in two days through the student account. Packaging was good, no damage to books, and was exactly as described. Was also cheaper than the school bookstore, so it was a good choice.

this is a great textbook. the author gives a lot of great examples to help you get a better understanding of the concepts. that being said, if you catch on quickly, the text may seem a bit redundant.
