It is well written - a lot of linguistics / grammar books are like their own code - and would be easy for someone who has never studied it at degree level - and as I said would be useful for a complete beginner in applying A Level English Language study to case studies and understanding the form and function of the language we use.
Unfortunately on the preview I couldn't see the contents table of the book and if I had I wouldn't have purchased it only to return it as soon as it arrived. Again, the book was good for its purpose, but my personal level in linguistics is much higher than I had initially realised.
