Maths is so often "taught" using an assumption of a certain level, or using terms and language too advanced to allow a grasp of basic concepts, and when you can't grasp a concept, telling someone "just think of it as a 4th level polynomial" is truly not productive at all.
This is where this book excels. It teaches the concepts (as basic as they need to be), and summarises each small less on with a highlighted section on the page, telling you what information to take from the section. The sections build up further and further (I'm still reading), steadily allowing a solid foundation with a series of clear examples and a plain approach to explaining what you need to know.
I'm highly impressed, and I wish I had this book so long ago.
Math.
Infact, math, as I've come to realise, is one of the major pillars in both intelligence and application in both a metaphysical and physcal application.
After reading numerous books, I found myself yawning, blaming my laziness or some other reason using conjecture to satisfy my excuse until I decided to read this book.
Despite my own use of words, I detest learning from complicated parlance in sources; simple language is what I long for since I feel it's hard enough trying to assimilate AND understand whats being learned and this book delivers.
Written in a simple to understand manner where little educated guess work and logic (pinch of salt on the logic clause of my sentence) is required. From A to Omega, this book will give you satisfaction in both yourself and math.
I do have one complaint; I would have been greatly appreciative if the basic laws of arithmetic were stated such as "commutative, distributive..." from the begining but thats no big deal really.
All the best and sincerely,
~W
