I would not recommend this textbook. The method used in this publication to continue learning french is inadequate, hard to follow, and doesn't explain the theory behind the grammar being taught. I thought I was the only one who felt this way but after talking to the other students in my French 102 class, they all felt the same as I did. The only reason I gave it a two star is because of the audio component it offers. This allows students to learn the correct pronunciation and get our ears used to the french language. Other than that, the methodology used is frustrating, out of sequence, confusing, and not helpful. I bought this textbook because it was required by the professor teaching my class but I wish he had continued using French In Action which is what we used during our first semester. The majority of students in my class (we are a group of 16 students) go to YouTube to help us understand the grammar that this textbook attempts to teach without success. Maybe my whole class is just dumb but I doubt it because 12 of us are already bilingual and we earned a spot in an Ivy college!
