FUNCTIONAL ANATOMY - Neat & cohesive table of ALL muscles covered in unit
Subject notes for Curtin HUMB1002
Description
These notes are formatted into table form for an easy read, in order to break down the examinable components of each muscle learnt throughout the unit into learnable and less intimidating chunks. They are divided into the area of the body they are in (as listed below), and follow the exam criteria of muscle attachments, innervation, action, and an included picture for visual learners such as myself. Not only did I rely on these notes immensely throughout semester 1 of 2018 when I was completing the unit, but I still refer back to them frequently to this day. The muscles covered are those in the: - Illiac region - Gluteal region (deep and superficial) - Thigh (medial, anterior, and posterior) - Leg (posterior, anterior, and lateral) - Anterior / Posterior axio-appendicular - Scapulo-humeral - Arm (anterior, posterior) - Forearm (anterior, posterior, superficial & deep) - Thoracic wall - Abdominal wall - Back muscles (intrinsic, superficial, intermediate, deep) - Neck muscles (superficial, deep, lateral) In this unit I achieved a mark of 82, which is considered a High Distinction.
