Good foundational subject

A fantastic subject which provides a smooth introduction to sociological works and concepts! The content was always interesting and engaging and the lecturers are all wonderful. The tutorials are definitely helpful. The assignments may have been a little challenging but plenty of assistance was provided and everything was marked extremely fairly.

A great subject that introduces students to the theories of sociology and a great foundation for all sociology classes. With a range of lectures to keep students engaged with the content. PASS is a large recommendation.

Pretty interesting course, makes you think in a different way. Going to lectures really helps instead of listening online

the information we were taught was really interesting. but the assignments and tutes were really boring, annoying and confusing.

Fairly good course, doesn't require too much work. Covers a pretty general level of sociology so if you want more in depth stuff then you'll have to wait till second year.

Great introduction into sociology for anybody considering doing the 3000 level courses. The course covers a range of sociological ideas which will challenge your thinking.

It's an ok subject, lecturers can be very one sided. PASS definitely helps with extra notes and study.
